BRAINR sponsored and participated in the APIC Annual Seminar, where we discussed innovation in the digitalization of the meat industry and learned about the potential and challenges of vegetable proteins.
Yes, we were there! BRAINR, the first MES/MOM cloud focused on the food industry, was a sponsor and participated in the most “meaty” event in September! The APIC (Portuguese Meat Industry Association) Annual Seminar, at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine — ULisboa, was a true banquet of knowledge. Fantastic speakers, relevant topics, and some eye-popping custard cupcakes!
One of the topics that caught our attention a lot:
💡 Do plant-based proteins have immense potential? But... calm down! Not everything is a green fairytale. 🌿 We discovered that some of these “healthy” products may have a higher sodium and sugar content than they are intended to replace.
In addition, we sat down at the table with some of the country's leading meat producers to discuss the challenges they face when digitizing their operations. And look how succulent the conversations were! 🥩 From efficiency on production lines to sustainability, we talked about everything and more like steak.
This seminar not only whetted the appetite for the future of the food industry, but it reinforced our commitment to helping industry players navigate the digital world with BRAINR as an ally. 🚀
